Harris Wishnick
Hello, My name is Harris Wishnick. My wife and I moved to Prescott Valley in July 2017. It seems like I’ve been taking photographs my whole life. (Actually, since winning a Brownie Hawkeye camera in a magazine selling contest when I was twelve.) In the seventies I was doing photography almost full time, taking as many assignments as I could handle. I also worked with the Northwestern University dance department doing publicity photography and with students on their portfolios. I tapered off once I got married and got a “real” job. I picked up again when digital started taking over and for the past ten years I’ve been shooting almost every day. When we moved to Prescott, a whole new wonderland opened up for me. I will shoot almost everything except for portraits and weddings (that is what happens when you get old) I have always loved shooting landscapes but recently getting interested in wrecks; old, run-down buildings, cars and the like. I’ve been working my way through most of the old towns in the area. My most recent find was the Hackberry general store on old route 66 near Kingman. My website is Hwishnick.viewbug.com. Hope you like my work.
